Tī Leaf Lei

  • On Oct. 12th, bring two or three tī leaves to class: pule first, 
  • ask the plant and tell it why (telepathically or out loud) 
  • choose leaves with no spots, all green, any size; 
  • but do not pick the whole stalk 
  • nor the top four inner leave (newest growth) of the tī

What should I review?

  • All kāhea for all verses to all mele; 
  • words to your `oli and mele (know the stories); 
  • practice motions to hula; 
  • jot down questions for next class when asked if you have any questions...
  • and lastly but not least important, review all mea waiwai, know the mana`o and ask yourself if you have been living these in your life/interactions with others, nature.
